Our Programs
Through its associates in India, the Thangam foundation ensures a very competitive, yet transparent process of utilizing the funds we mobilize. The key is ensure that the entire donation from donors reaches the students. We strive to keep costs very low. Run by like-minded volunteers, apart from an extremely minimal 3% overall operational cost, the entire donation is used to benefit the students.
Most importantly the entire process is transparent and all donors are kept informed as to how their contributions are put to use - and can directly engage with the child they sponsor.
Adopting a child’s education for the Academic Year
(recurring yearly until the child completes school)
Sponsor a complete set of books/notebooks for the school year
Sponsor a set of uniforms needed for the school year
Sponsor a weekly supplement to aid physical growth/ensure health
Sponsor the cost of transport for the child to and from school
Contribution to this can be used to cover any of the above programs
