Empowering the under-privileged through Education.
The Need
Every child has the ability to learn. For many the opportunity to quality education is beyond reach due to financial inabilities. Single parents, first generation school goers, poverty, drives them towards menial jobs than pursuing education at school. Many children from this society meander away and later on find themselves lost in life. The “Gift of Life” program is a way to put children in school so they can move beyond the barriers of poverty and achieve in life through education. Many such children have been touched through this program in South India and Africa.

A nation’s progress is in the hands of its people, its future generations. Education is the great leveler and enabler. Thangam Foundation wants to be the catalyst by providing the opportunity of education to the underprivileged.
Our aim:
1. To make education available to the economically weak
2. To allow children to blossom and reach heights through education.
3. To create to be leaders for the future. The endeavor is to create at least 200 leaders in the civil services who can then define the way forward.
